So if you think that you want to have an on-premise installation, Tableau Server might be the way to go, but I warn you, it is a lot of work to maintain. We also won't be using Tableau Server, however, that is a very powerful version of Tableau, and you can use that to install on your own systems, on your own computers, and then manage accounts, data permissions, views of data, and so on. It has a lot of built-in algorithms and other features that you can use. Tableau Prep Builder we don't use, but it's useful if you want to clean up your data. If you want to work on Tableau Cloud, and that is a version of the software that is hosted on Tableau servers, then you can click Start A Free Trial and start using that.
